The Mondriaan Foundation encourages the appreciation of visual arts, design and the cultural heritage from the Netherlands.
Last year, the Mondriaan Foundation supported 673 projects with a total of € 18 million. 271 international projects in 49 different countries were supported financially with a total amount of € 2.726.831.

The Mondriaan Foundation was created to stimulate visual arts, design and the cultural heritage from the Netherlands.
We are committed to strengthening the international position of contemporary visual arts and design, and we accomplish this by offering financial support to enable institutions, companies and authorities, both national and international, to reach their audience and extend that reach.

Simultaneously we also believe it to be important that artists, professionals and the public in the Netherlands are able to have an accurate conception as to the latest international developments. To this end we stimulate initiatives designed to bring foreign projects of topical interest to the Netherlands.

Our international ambitions are in line with our primary goal of increasing interest in, and demand for, contemporary visual arts, design and cultural heritage from the Netherlands.
